European Football Alliance (EFA) beendet Zusammenarbeit mit der ELF
Die European Football Alliance (EFA) gab heute bekannt, dass sie die Kooperationsvereinbarung mit der European League of Football (ELF) beendet. Nach unserer Ankündigung vom 26. November hat die EFA eine Bewertung der vorgeschlagenen einheitlichen Struktur vorgenommen, um sicherzustellen, dass diese unseren zwingenden Standards in Bezug auf finanzielle Stabilität und Transparenz entspricht. Auf Grundlage dieser Bewertung hat der Vorstand der EFA beschlossen, dass die Voraussetzungen für eine nachhaltige Partnerschaft nicht erfüllt werden konnten, und hat die formellen Beziehungen mit sofortiger Wirkung beendet.
Die EFA wird ihre Entwicklung als unabhängige Liga fortsetzen, strukturiert nach dem bewährten Modell der National Football League (NFL). In diesem Modell wird die Liga gemeinschaftlich von ihren Mitgliedsfranchises geführt, wobei finanzielle Nachhaltigkeit und transparente Eigentümerstrukturen im Vordergrund stehen. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass dieser teamgeführte Ansatz der einzige Weg zu langfristigem Erfolg im professionellen Sport ist und der Hauptgrund dafür, warum sich die traditionsreichsten und erfolgreichsten Marken des Kontinents für die EFA als ihre Heimat entschieden haben.
Die EFA und ihre Mitgliedsfranchises konzentrieren sich weiterhin voll und ganz auf die Vorbereitung der kommenden Saison. European Football Alliance (EFA) Terminates Cooperation with ELF
The European Football Alliance (EFA) announced today that it is terminating the cooperation agreement with the European League of Football (ELF). Following our November 26 announcement, the EFA engaged in an evaluation of the proposed unified structure to ensure it met our mandatory standards for financial stability and transparency. Based on this assessment, the EFA Board of Governors has determined that the conditions required for a sustainable partnership could not be met and has severed formal ties eGective immediately.
The EFA will continue its development as an independent league, structured in line with the proven National Football League (NFL) model. Under this model, the league is governed collectively by its member franchises, prioritizing financial sustainability and transparent ownership standards. We believe this team-led approach is the only path to long-term success in professional sports, and it is the primary reason the continent’s most historic and successful brands have chosen the EFA as their home.
The EFA and our member franchises remain fully focused on preparation for the upcoming season. Our operations are secure, our 2026 season planning is on track, and our commitment to delivering the premier professional American football experience in Europe is stronger than ever.
