Woche 6 Game Recap: Frankfurt Galaxy gewinnt zu Hause

Der erste Heimsieg für Frankfurt Galaxy und ein wichtiger Selbstvertrauensschub für die Offense.

Ohne Brevin Easton, der das Spiel aufgrund einer leichten Schulterverletzung aus dem Spiel gegen die Nordic Storm verpasste, standen Fragen zur Leistungsfähigkeit der Offense ohne ihren führenden Receiver im Raum. Ethan Garbers fand die Verbindung zu sieben verschiedenen Receivern. Normen Schumm lieferte die stärkste Einzelleistung der Woche mit 140 Yards und einem Touchdown. Frankfurt setzte verstärkt auf kurze Drag Routes und Screen Passes – die nötige Variabilität im Offensivspiel war die Folge.

Der gemeinsame Einsatz von Marvyn Bouembe und Gerald Ameln im Laufspiel zahlte sich ebenfalls aus. Zum ersten Mal in dieser Saison kamen zwei Galaxy-Running-Backs auf mehr als 9 Carries in einem Spiel. Einer der Grundsteine dieses Erfolgs war die starke Leistung der Offensive Line, die Lücken schuf und Ethan Garbers schützte – mit nur einem zugelassenen Sack.

Die Defense erledigte ihre Aufgabe, hielt die Prague Lions unter 20 Punkten und überzeugte auf Third und Fourth Down mit 7 von 9 gestoppten Versuchen. Mit zwei Sacks und einem weiteren erzwungenen Turnover durch Toby Naylor bleibt die Galaxy-Defense die stabilste Einheit im Team.

Week 6 Game Recap: Frankfurt Galaxy gets the win at home

First home win for Frankfurt Galaxy and an important confidence boost for the offense.
