Frankfurt Galaxy verpflichtet Quarterback Zach Calzada.
Der 25-jährige Quarterback verbrachte den Großteil seiner College-Karriere bei Texas A&M und der University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). Während seiner Zeit bei Texas A&M stand Zach in zehn Spielen als Starting Quarterback auf dem Feld und erzielte eine Bilanz von 6 Siegen und 4 Niederlagen. Dazu gehörte einer der größten Überraschungssiege der College-Football-Geschichte gegen das an Nummer 1 gesetzte Team der Alabama. In diesem Spiel warf Zach Calzada für 285 Yards, 3 Touchdowns und 1 Interception und setzte sich gegen den späteren First Overall Pick des NFL Drafts, Bryce Young, durch.
Nach seiner Zeit bei Texas A&M wechselte Zach an die UIW. In zwei Jahren als Starting Quarterback führte er das Team zur Southland Conference Championship sowie ins Viertelfinale der NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs 2024.

Zach Calzada – new quarterback of Frankfurt Galaxy
Frankfurt Galaxy signs quarterback Zach Calzada.
The 25-year-old quarterback spent most of his college career at Texas A&M and the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). During his time at Texas A&M, Zach made 10 starts and compiled a 6–4 record, including one of the biggest upset victories in college football history against the No. 1-ranked Alabama. In that game, Zach Calzada threw for 285 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception, defeating the future No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick Bryce Young.
After his time at Texas A&M, Zach transferred to UIW. During his two seasons as the starting quarterback, he led the team to a Southland Conference Championship and the quarterfinals of the 2024 NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs.
