Frankfurt Galaxy: Die Saison 2026
Die EFA-Saison 2026 findet für die Frankfurt Galaxy ihren Abschluss.
Nach einer unruhigen Offseason 2025/2026 und wohl der schwierigsten Zeit für den American Football in Europa gelang der Frankfurt Galaxy der Neuaufbau des Kaders sowie ein Beitrag zur Gründung der European Football Alliance.
13 Wochen Football, 5 Heimspiele mit einer durchschnittlichen Zuschauerzahl von über 5.000 und der verdiente dritte Platz in der wettbewerbsstärksten Liga Europas. Nach einem schwierigen Saisonstart nahm sich die Galaxy ihrer Probleme an und legte im Juni und Juli einen guten Lauf hin – drei Siege bei nur einer Niederlage. Die Erfolge gegen die Paris Musketeers, die Prague Lions und die Raiders Tirol in dieser Phase verschafften der Frankfurt Galaxy einen deutlichen Vorteil im Rennen um das BIG4. Die endgültige Platzierung auf dem dritten Tabellenplatz fiel dennoch erst im letzten Spiel, mit dem Auswärtssieg in Prag und der damit gesicherten Playoff-Teilnahme.
Mit der Niederlage gegen die Munich Ravens im BIG4 geht die Frankfurt Galaxy in die Offseason. Wir möchten uns bei allen Fans für ihre Unterstützung während der EFA-Premierensaison bedanken. Wir sehen uns sehr bald wieder – mit weiteren News und Ankündigungen.

The 2026 EFA season comes to its conclusion for the Frankfurt Galaxy.
After the shaky 2025/2026 offseason and probably the most challenging time for American football in Europe, Frankfurt Galaxy rebuilt the roster and played a role in the establishment of the European Football Alliance.
13 weeks of football, 5 home games with more than 5,000 attendance on average and the earned third seed in the most competitive league in Europe. After a challenging start to the season, Galaxy addressed its problems and went on a good run in June and July, winning 3 games and losing only one. Beating the Paris Musketeers, the Prague Lions and the Raiders Tirol during this time gave Frankfurt Galaxy a considerable advantage in the BIG4 race. Still, the final seeding on the third place was decided in the last game, when Frankfurt beat the Prague Lions on the road and secured a playoff spot.
With the loss against the Munich Ravens in the BIG4, Frankfurt Galaxy goes into the offseason. We want to thank all our fans for their support during the inaugural EFA season. We will see you very soon with more news and announcements.
